The Women’s Premier League is back for its fourth season from January 9 to February 5, 2026, and if you’re in South Africa, you can watch it live through SuperSport.
That’s the only place showing WPL matches here, so you’ll need DStv or one of their streaming options.

While the official broadcaster has not confirmed, but depending on last season’s, Supersports will have the official broadcast rights in South Africa.
Watching on DStv (Satellite TV)
SuperSport will show the matches on their cricket channels, usually SuperSport Cricket or SuperSport Grandstand.
DStv Compact Plus and DStv Premium both give you SuperSport channels. Premium is the top package, and it definitely includes everything.
What you need to do:
Step 1 – You need a DStv package that includes SuperSport cricket channels, such as SuperSport Cricket or SuperSport Grandstand.
Step 2 – If your package doesn’t include SuperSport, you’ll need to upgrade. Call DStv, use their website, or open the MyDStv app to change your package.
Step 3 – When January comes, check your DStv TV Guide. It will show you exactly which channel number is broadcasting the WPL matches. Write it down or save it in your phone.
Step 4 – On match day, switch your TV to that SuperSport channel and enjoy the cricket.
The packages that definitely work are DStv Compact Plus and DStv Premium. These give you full cricket coverage. Lower packages like Compact, Family, or Access usually don’t include the right sports channels.
When SuperSport puts out their WPL schedule in early January, double-check which channel numbers are showing the matches. That way you won’t miss any games.

DStv Stream lets you watch on your phone, tablet, or laptop. If you already pay for DStv, you get DStv Stream for free.
You can also buy a streaming-only package. This costs about R400 to R700 a month and gives you all the SuperSport channels without needing a dish on your roof.
What you need to do:
Step 1 – Visit the DStv website and look at their DStv Stream packages. Pick one that includes SuperSport channels, usually called Stream Compact Plus or Stream Premium.
Step 2 – Sign up for DStv Stream and pay for your first month. You’ll need an email address and payment details.

Step 2 – Create your Showmax account and pay for your monthly subscription. Make absolutely sure you’ve selected a Pro plan with sports included.
Step 3 – Get the Showmax app on your phone, tablet, or Smart TV.
Step 4 – Once you’re logged in, look for the Sport section or Live section in the app menu. That’s where SuperSport’s live cricket streams will appear during match times.
