She has amassed an incredible 4523 runs at an average of 48.63 in just 108 games, placing her among the top three batters in the ICC Rankings.

She will be looking to surpass her 757-run total in 15 games at the 50-over competition, having been the Proteas Women’s top run scorer in the 2022 World Cup with 433 runs at an average of 54.12.

Marizanne Kapp, a seasoned fast bowling all-rounder with 167 ODI wickets in 152 games, has led South Africa’s attack and will be competing in her fifth World Cup. One of her most notable performances at the 2022 World Cup was her 5/45 against England; she has previously claimed 32 wickets in 22 games throughout four World Cups. A vital component of South Africa’s game in every way, Kapp has amassed 3303 ODI runs in addition to her bowling prowess.
