His innings, which included 9 fours and 9 towering sixes with a strike rate of 171.01, now stands as the highest individual score in SA20 history, surpassing the previous record of 116* by Kyle Verreynne. 

Hope’s dominance propelled the Capitals to a formidable 201/4. In response, despite a heroic unbeaten 97(52) from Jos Buttler, the Super Giants were bowled out for 186.
