The major 50-over women’s cricket competition in South Africa is the CSA Women’s Pro50 Series, which is formally known as the Hollywoodbets Pro50 due to sponsorship. It is the replacement for the CSA Women’s One-Day Cup and is administered by Cricket South Africa (CSA). In the 2024–2025 season, the CSA Women’s Pro50 Series was established as the official domestic women’s 50-over cricket tournament in South Africa. It will be the second season of the tournament.

The CSA Women’s One-Day Cup has been replaced by Cricket South Africa to offer a more competitive and professional format. With frequent top-tier matchups between six regional teams, the series aims to nurture local talent and prepare players for international cricket. This year, the tournament starts on 4th October 2025, and six teams will feature in it.

CSA Women Pro50 Series 2025/26 Overview

Cricket South Africa’s (CSA) top domestic one-day women’s cricket competition is the CSA Women Pro50 Series 2025–2026. Six regional teams the Dolphins, Lions, Titans, Western Province, South Western Districts, and Free State compete in the tournament’s thrilling 50-over format.

With a double round-robin format, each club plays every other team twice, at home and away, for a total of 30 league games. The season’s champion is decided by the final, which is attended by the top two teams in the points table.

CSA Women Pro50 Series 2025/26 Fixtures

The opening game in the CSA Women Pro50 Series will take place between Hollywoodbets Dolphins Women and DP World Lions Women on 4th October 2025. However, all teams will compete in a round-robin 50-over format from October 2025 to March 2026 as part of the CSA Women Pro50 Series 2025–2026.
